Wayne Miles
Over a career spanning nearly 50 years, Wayne has created an extensive portfolio of paintings, sculptures, digital media and public artworks.
Wayne’s art is diverse in subject matter from regional landscapes, still life, abstract and provocative commentary. He is accomplished working with oil on canvas, glass with acrylics, through to water colours and pen and ink. His creativity and skills have no boundaries - experimentation is an inspiration.
Career recognition includes hanging in exhibitions, awards and acquisitive prizes with many institutions including the Art Gallery of NSW and regional galleries across the state. For more career highlights click here
Wayne is currently the Chair of Canowindra Art Gallery, hosts local workshops in painting and is available for private creative tuition. If the subject sparks his interest, Wayne sometimes accepts requests for public or private collection commissions, including the commemorative installation for the Cowra Breakout.
